About us

St. Francis Xavier JNS is a co-educational junior school with nearly 360 pupils enrolled for the academic year 2025-2026.

Our school sits in the heart of the established community of Roselawn. Our school ethos is Catholic and we are under the patronage of the Archbishop of Dublin. We welcome children of all faiths to our school and children of none.

The teaching staff comprises of a Principal, Deputy Principal and seven Assistant Principals. We have sixteen mainstream class teachers and one autism class. We have a team of seven SET teachers, one of whom is shared with another school and nine SNA’s.

The child is the focus of our energy. We strive to deliver a holistic education to each child. It is our aim that each child reaches his or her full potential in a safe and happy environment. In our school the Catholic values of justice and respect for all guide us at all times.

Vision

Our vision is that children and staff work together to realise their full potential in a safe, happy and stimulating environment. We hope to provide the foundations for lifelong learning and for the children to become respectful, active members of society.
