Vetting Forms
Dear Parents/Guardians/Volunteers,
As part of our commitment to ensuring the safety and wellbeing of all pupils, we sometimes ask for parent volunteers to support school trips, events, and other activities.
Please note that in certain situations, parents or carers who assist regularly or who have direct, unsupervised contact with children will be required to undergo a vetting process. This helps us confirm that all adults working closely with our pupils meet the safeguarding standards set by the school and national guidance.
Not every parent helper will need to be vetted — it depends on the nature of the activity, the level of supervision involved, and the duration of contact with pupils. The school will let you know if a vetting check is required for the role you are supporting with.
We greatly value the time and enthusiasm our parent volunteers give, and we thank you for your understanding and cooperation in helping us maintain a safe environment for all our children.
